Huszar loves Kamar so much that whenever Kamar is out of Huszar’s sight, he paces frantically and whinnies loudly. These two horses are buddies for life.

The fidelity of a horse is a precious gift. It is a gift I am given every time I spend time with Kamar.

When a relationship begins to fray, it is easy for it to break altogether. I have lots of crumbling and broken relationships with people. But the mutual love in my relationships with my animals stays strong and enduring.

Beauty is whatever gives joy. I have noticed that the most beautiful people are the ones that are doing what makes them happy. And it seems that the unhappy people are extremely envious of the happy ones. Today, I have made up my mind to be happy despite the negative, unhappy people in the world who just want to criticize the positive people. I focus on my joy. Kamar gives me joy!

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take but by the moments that take our breath away! Riding Kamar bareback takes my breath away!

Kamar wasn’t sure what to do when I first jumped on his bare back. It was a new experience for both of us!

Zum pins his ears back, swishes his tail and refuses to trot in the round pen most of the time. Despite his cranky mood, I am making progress with him. I got him to trot in both directions with me on his back! And he even put his ears forward, a sign that he enjoyed trotting again!

I have never ridden Kamar bareback! I decide I will give it a try! How will Kamar react when I ride him bareback for the first time?

Kamar loves getting my attention. At 27 years old, he feels like my king. When you own and ride a horse for 23 years, as I have with Kamar, this horse is the apple of your eye.
